While my stay at La Vieille Gorce was almost flawless, I did find one minor downside. The only negative aspect was the lack of muesli or cereal options at breakfast.

Lovely property, beautiful house and Gites. Extremely clean with everything you need. Fabulous swimming pool. Delicious homemade breakfast. Charming and attentive hosts. Beautiful surroundings for road cycling and mountain biking.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Vielle Gorce in the beautiful countryside of Vienne. From the moment we arrived, Paul and Sarah welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. Our room was incredibly comfortable, with a luxurious bathroom featuring a fabulous shower. The attention to detail throughout the property was impeccable, and the gardens were absolutely stunning. We particularly enjoyed the private pool, which was a perfect way to relax and cool off during our stay. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with freshly baked bread by Paul that filled the air with its inviting aroma. If you're looking for a peaceful and idyllic retreat, I highly recommend La Vielle Gorce.

The value for money at this beautiful B&B was exceptional, with spacious and romantic rooms and a fabulous bathroom. The location was idyllic, surrounded by stunning gardens and with a relaxing swimming pool. The hosts, Sarah and Paul, were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

More variety in the food for breakfast, such as muesli or cereal, would have been a nice addition.

Cycling is among the activities that guests can enjoy near the bed and breakfast. The beautiful countryside surrounding the property provides the perfect backdrop for a leisurely bike ride, as if you're pedaling through a postcard.

Limoges is a bit far.

The rooms are super cozy and comfortable, with hardwood flooring that gives a warmth to the space. I loved waking up to a pool view from my double room, it felt so refreshing! And having a private bathroom with free toiletries was a total bonus. Plus, the tea and coffee making facilities were a lifesaver in the mornings. As a guest who appreciates a good mix of comfort and convenience, this place ticked all the boxes for me.

Okay, so here's the thing. As much as I loved the pool view from my room, I have to admit that I found it a bit too tempting.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway at this lovely B&B. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, and we loved the beautiful setting where it was served. The hosts also provided us with great recommendations for places to visit in the area, including some fantastic bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed the cozy sitting area and the comfortable bed in our room. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge during the holiday season.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about our stay at this B&B. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

I had the most delightful stay at La Vieille Gorce in the French countryside. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly hosts made me feel right at home. The fabulous bathroom in my room was a luxurious touch. The peaceful and quiet location provided the perfect backdrop for a serene getaway. Although I didn't have the opportunity to use it, the warm swimming pool was a lovely addition. And even though I didn't use the WiFi, it was available if needed. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful rural escape.
